Chapter Membership
Becoming a UIUC ASCE Student Chapter member is an excellent way to become involved with your Department and other students in your major. Where else can you wax philosophic about the beauty of prestressed concrete, or have an in-depth conversation about Champaign-Urbana signal timings? Or you can just go on the bar crawls. Whatever your preference, there are countless activities and opportunities available to you.
Membership is open to all students at UIUC; you need not be a civil engineer. Memberships are $6 for one semester. This nominal fee helps ASCE buy pizza for general meetings, fund social events, and other things. When you join, you will receive a UIUC ASCE Student Member Card, and can begin reaping the benefits of membership.
To become a member, fill out our online
membership application. You can also view other
members in our Chapter
Membership Directory. |
All Membership questions can be directed to Chris Petta at
cpetta2@uiuc.edu.

National

Once you are a UIUC ASCE Student Member, you are eligible for free membership in National ASCE. There are many advantages to being a National Member, far too numerous to list here. A complete list of the benefits of being a National Member can be found on the
National
Website. Applications for National Membership can be submitted
online. UIUC's school code is 1836, and our faculty advisor is Dr. Khaled El-Rayes.
