Message from the CEEAA President

The Civil and Environmental Engineering Alumni Association (CEEAA) works to build and maintain connections among alumni, friends of the department, faculty, and current students. We encourage you to take advantage of the many opportunities to get involved with the department and keep in touch with your fellow alumni. The CEEAA regularly hosts events throughout the country at which you can mingle with alumni, students, and faculty. We hope you will benefit both professionally and socially from these interactions. Here in the department, faculty members welcome the involvement of alumni, whose participation greatly enriches the educaitonal experience and opportunities of our current students. Please consider this your personal invitation to mentor a student; present a seminar; speak at a class; or attend a student-sponsored activity. Another priority of the CEEAA is to recognize the many achievements of our alumni through our awards program. I am honored to serve as President of the CEEAA. I look forward to meeting more of you at our events, and I urge you to consider the many ways in which you can stay involved with your department. As a graduate of this department, you have much to offer and much to gain by staying connected with your school through the CEEAA.
